C6 Energy is an international energy company headquartered in Sydney, Australia. We have a particular focus in the Asia Pacific Region, Middle East and Africa with growing interest from European countries. C6 Energy specialises in the development of processes that utilise low value and / or negative value feedstocks, and energy crops. Feedstocks able to be processed may include:

  • Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) - including mining existing landfill

Our systems may include the reclamation of recyclable commodities, the enhancement of by-products and the production of energy products. Recyclables may include plastics, glass, ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The products may include syngas, electricity, oil, methanol or biodiesel (by blending methanol with vegetable oil) and carbon black.

Engineering Team

C6 Energy utilises integration processes that leverage a range of existing and proven technologies from world class engineering companies. This enables C6 Energy to deliver an ideal solution and optimum results - rather than seeking to apply an “off-the-shelf” package approach. When the specific feedstock streams (type and quantity) have been identified and the desired energy product output has been determined, C6 Energy will design an end-to-end process to process the feedstock.

Project Risk Management

The viability of the C6 Energy projects are typically underpinned by:

  • a feedstock agreement from a Government agency
  • off-take and/or power purchase agreements from purchasers of the energy products
  • off-take agreements from purchasers of the recyclable commodities
  • guarantees from world class engineering companies and facility operators
